Chukky Okobi
principal

Chukky Okobi is a native son of Pittsburgh, PA. His dream as a child was to one day represent his hometown as a member of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Chukky knew achieving this goal would require focus, dedication and sacrifice. He was prepared to give that and more to succeed.

Chukky made his presence known very early in his career. He was an honorable mention All-American and All-conference selection twice at the Trinity Pawling (N.Y.) High School. He didnšt limit himself to one side of the field. He illustrated an all-around talent by performing as a three-year two-way starter as both an offensive lineman and defensive tackle. Chukky led his team in tackles and sacks as a senior captain and helped propel his team to a league title in 1994. Not content to utilize his talents solely for football, Chukky also competed in the shot put. He placed fourth in that event at the New England Prep Championships as a junior.

Chukky took his goal to the next level by attending Purdue University and becoming a 4 year starting offensive lineman. His personal collegiate career highlight was his appearance in the Rose Bowl as the starting center. Chukky moved another step closer to his dream when he was selected by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the 2001 NFL draft. He is currently in his 4th year with the Steelers and was rewarded with a new long term contract committing him to the future starting center position for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Chukky understands that the same drive, determination and perseverance that helped him to become a productive member of the Pittsburgh Steelers is also a valuable asset in the business world. In 2001 he started his own real estate investment company and is one of the elite NFL athletes who transferred his achievement on the field to the business world. Building on his previous success he met Daniel White and the two formed the Prodigy Group, Inc.
